D.R. Horton and Hot On! Homes offer 10,000 reasons to attend Jan. 20 grand openingD.R. Horton will heat things up in Woodforest with help from Hot On! Homes. The two are partnering with Woodforest Development for a Realtor grand opening of gigantic proportions, set for 3:30-6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20, to unveil the builder’s new model home and 13 inventory homes. Realtors will enjoy food, drinks and music while having a chance to tour the homes and enter to win 100 door prizes valued up to $10,000.
In addition, the Hot On! Homes film crew will interview agents in the D.R. Horton model home for a show to be aired in February.
“We encourage agents to stop by the model home and be interviewed by the TV crew,” said Virgil Yoakum, Woodforest general manager. Hot On! Homes TV airs on KPRC/Channel 2, Sundays at 10 a.m.
D.R. Horton builds on both 55-foot and 65-foot homesites in Woodforest. Base prices are from the $190,000s on 55-foot homesites and from the $280,000s on the larger properties. The builder’s 3,206-square-foot model is already open, as are most of the inventory homes. Remaining inventory homes will be ready for the Jan. 20 event.
“What a great way to kick off the year! We’re expecting more than 350 Realtors to attend,” said D.R. Horton sales representative Dustin Dye.” We will have everything completed in the inventory homes except for the flooring, which is standard for D.R. Horton. A perk we offer buyers of our inventory homes is to allow them to visit our design center and select wood and choose the color of their carpet and tile.”
In addition to the 13 inventory homes already in place, D.R. Horton is planning another 12 inventory homes, with the first two starting soon.
“At D.R. Horton, we like to say we’ve already built your home, you just need to come find it,” Dye said. “Plus, we’ve been getting a lot of traffic in Woodforest and we think as people discover the great value offered in the community, that there will be even more home buyers.
