Phase I development in Woodforest consists of 360 homesites out of a total of 5,500 for the entire master plan. Phase I is scheduled to launch with 6 highly-acclaimed production homebuilders, all which currently build throughout the Houston area. An announcement of the production builder line-in is planned for September 2008. Homesites will be delivered to the production and custom builders this fall at which time they will begin construction of model homes and speculative homes. 

We are pleased to announce the Custom builder line-up for our first two custom enclaves, Elk Trace Golf Estates and Elk Reserve. Elk Trace Golf Estates is an elite enclave of 32 one-acre homesites. Each is carefully sited to take advantage of panoramic views of the Nos. 3 and 4 holes of the Woodforest Golf Club. Homeowners can spend afternoons al fresco entertained by the action along the Woodforest golf course, which borders many of the homesites in Elk Trace.

Neighboring Elk Reserve will offer 24 custom homesites, each facing 2.5 acres of lakes and parks. The community gateway will be distinguished by two Craftsman-style garden follies set within the landscape to visually anchor the bridge leading to Elk Reserve. To enhance lakeside vistas and complement the wooded setting, Elk Reserve Park will incorporate lush landscaping accented by comfortable wooden benches set beneath vine-covered trellises. Along the lake, decorative stone pavers and seating walls will encircle stone sculptures, and a butterfly garden will grace a lakeside park. Several of the homesites also adjoin greenbelts. Every Elk Reserve resident will enjoy the privacy of this lakeside enclave. 

The Woodforest custom builders include George Weaver, Inc., Jeff Paul Custom Homes, J.M. Wendell Custom Homes, Legendary Custom Homes, Meadowlark Custom Homes, T.D. Cox Homes and Tommy Bailey Homes all of whom have reserved multiple homesites for homes that will be priced from the $750s to over $1 million.
