What is the development timeline for Woodforest?
A large-scale master-planned community with a population that could eventually reach 15,000, Woodforest will have approximately 5,500 homes, as well as retail and commercial properties, places of worship, on-site schools and a fire station. By the end of 2008, 240 homesites in the first phase of development are scheduled for completion, with Conroe home builders starting model home and inventory home construction. Prospective buyers will enjoy pre-grand opening incentives in spring 2009. The entire development has a 10-year build-out.
What is the status of Fish Creek Thoroughfare?
Fish Creek Thoroughfare will be a major roadway through this Houston master-planned community - a north-south roadway connecting FM 2854 and FM 1488, both of which provide access to Interstate 45. Fish Creek Thoroughfare also will feed into FM 2978, providing access to Woodlands Parkway and FM 2920, two more routes accessing Interstate 45. Fish Creek Thoroughfare is currently under construction and expected to open in spring 2009.

Montgomery Independent School District has a strong academic reputation, with impressive TAKS scores that easily top state averages.
Montgomery ISD schools serving Woodforest include Lone Star Elementary, Montgomery Intermediate (4th and 5th grades), Montgomery Middle School (6th grade), Montgomery Junior High (7th and 8th grades) and Montgomery High School.
Conroe Independent School District also exceeds state averages on the mandated TAKS test and has earned high marks for its financial management. Woodforest students in the Conroe ISD will attend B.B. Rice Elementary, Cryar Intermediate (4th through 6th grades), Peet Junior High (7th and 8th grades) and Conroe High School.

Practice facilities include a driving range, separate putting and chipping greens and fairway and greenside practice bunkers. Open to daily-fee play, the club offers several membership options. Private and group instruction is available.
